What Is The Dojo ?
After working restlessly, trying to achieve what every one else thinks is a dream , tired of working for folks who just don’t see what we see, we decided on change . Started a few years ago in Jet Lee’s backyard, The Dojo , was intended to be a safe haven for rappers , singers , writers , and any one their peers . A place of growth, a place of structure , a place of art . Quality is our standard . Can’t have a quality session (Or a quality mix) if you’re not recording on quality ! We start through our Neumann TLM 103 (1st Slide) , sent through gold connection XLR’s, to our Apollo Twin X Duo , up to the Mac, running on an M3 pro max chip, all getting tracked and mixed on pro tools , and monitored on a set of Yamaha HS 7’s.
